The next time you're designing a presentation or a website try using Color Scheme Designer to choose a colour pallette for you. It will even give you a preview of how the colours could be used on a website like this:

Creative Commons
When you add other people's photos or music to your website or presentation you need to be sure that you're not breaching copyright. The simplest way to do that is use media that is in the creative commons. Use the Creative Commons search engine to find media.
